Is Marketplace worth it?
Day 5: Sunday sort is simply Marketplace guy pulled out at 2 mins meant to arrive so decided would feel more abundant giving. Old city select luxe wheels and toddler shoes to baby give back charity collection at local councillor office tomorrow. Community gifting arranged for 3 storage tubs, trofast steps, and a bunch of other odds and ends. Some rusty garden fencing to recycle.
Kids did spark joy on box stuffed toys and most to go. Might recycle battered dolls and list teddies on community gifting as some even collect ratty ones for dogs!
What would make you feel most abundant?
Sometimes, it’s hard to give away perfectly good things. Those in the more woo woo world say that it sends a sign to the universe we have more than we need, which is meant to then give us a feeling of creative abundance not scarcity. From a Mindset perspective, giving away can bring up feelings of scarcity as well however, doing it can tell your unconscious mind that you have more than enough and it’s safe to give away. When you do this, you get a shot of happy chemicals and from that state you aren’t panicking about lack, in fact you feel generous, gratitude, abile to give service and contribute and this can lead to seeing possibilities and opportunities. Sometimes, accessing that mindset will do far more for you than bargaining for $20.
Online selling Test
Of course, sometimes quck and easy money is well worth the hassle of taking a picture and listing on line. For instance, Christmas 2021, I had a plastic glitter covered tree and hated it and wanted to list it and swap for a Norfolk Pine. I took a picture and within 5 minutes I received 10 offers immeditately accepting it, incluing delivery $60. It was 4 years old. I put in car and deivered to the city. Totally worth it. Apparentl there was a Tree shortage that year and so people were very willing to pay.
Other times to be aware of:
Weekends esp saturday morning, school holidays, long weekends, Christmas and Easter. These are all times people might be home and around and willing to get stuff in their home Back to school at start of year or term can trigger need for school or study items or furniture sales at times too.
